Brides Parents
This is what my parents are wearing - my mom bought a gorgeous navy blue taffeta and lace dress from Davids Bridal, and my dad is wearing the same tux as the guys, but with the Rio style vest/tie in Latte. I’ve never seen my parents dress up (my dad has never worn a tux before), so I’m excited to see them together in their fancy smancy outfits!
Groom and Groomsmen
The tuxes, from Mens Wearhouse - Calvin Kline 2 button notched. Chuck's everyday wardrobe consists mainly of the color black, and despite my light-hearted pleading, his tux will be the same - so he picked out the Rio style vest/tie in Black. The Best Man will be wearing the Rio style vest/tie in Chocolate, and our Groomsman will be wearing the Herringbone style vest/tie in Latte. We’ve chosen not have boutonnieres, because I don’t think its right to make guys have flowers attached their lapels - none of the guys cried over loosing them, either.
Bridesmaids
Most brides would nearly have a heart attack if someone mentioned the idea of each of their bridesmaids wearing their own dress, but not me. I told each girl to pick out whatever dress they felt the best in, in whatever color the felt the best in - and that I didn’t care if they spent 20 dollars or 200 dollars, much less if they got them at a bridal store or not. It was useless to try to get them to wear a dress that they would wear again, because they never dress up - so I knew they were going to go all out ;-). My MOH picked out a Davids Bridal Dress in Champagne (this dress is similar to it, though not exact…they have since discontinued the style). My other bridesmaid picked out a Davids Dress in Latte, and my FSIL picked out an Alfred Angelo Dress in Expresso.
This is how we ended up with the color scheme we have - yes, we based ours off of the BM dresses, not the other way around! Gasp!

The Girls finding 'the one'
Here are the girls when they picked out their dresses....only my MOH's dress is in the correct color (champagne). They all tried on an absurd amount (3 times more dresses then I did, at least) but I'm glad they are all thrilled with what they decided on. I think they all are going to look awesome :-)
Bridesmaid Gifts
I know people have mixed feelings on giving jewelry to bridesmaids and calling it a 'gift', even more so when you make them wear at during the wedding...but alas, I am not making mine wear theirs that day, so I suppose I'm not breaking any Bridal Laws.
Anyways, I made them glass bracelets in their favorite colors with charms fit their personalities. They don’t have to wear these on the wedding day - it’s just a little something to say ‘thanks’ (not to mention, every time we walk into a craft store, they go straight to the jewelry section anyways - so I know they will love these). Since I had leftover beads from each bracelet, I am going to throw together a necklace and wear it during the rehersal dinner, when I give them their gifts.
I am also giving them a candle, a photo frame (not pictured) with a photo of me and the girl in it, as well as a card and their favorite bath and body works body spray. All wrapped up in these copper organza wine bags I found at Micheals for .99 each. Can't beat that ;-)
